AMULANCE Joined By Former DAVID SHANKLE GROUP Drummer

Old-school metallers AMULANCE have announced the addition of guitarist Pat Cassidy (ex-SHADOZ EDGE) and drummer Eddie Foltz (ex-DAVID SHANKLE GROUP) to the group's ranks.

Commented bassist Thom Braddish: "These guys have been friends of ours for years and initially we just asked them to step in and help us finish up the record that we've been working on the last couple of years." Vocalist Rik Baez continued: "Eddie and Pat were a perfect choice for us because they are exceptional musicians.

"It has gone further than we expected because now our relationship has turned into them being actual band members opposed to just being a hired hand.

"We are sounding better than we ever and they have brought some cool stuff to the table."

Foltz stated: "AMULANCE has been friends of mine forever, I have considered them as brothers for many, many years

"When they approached me, I jumped at the chance.

"Individually, they are incredible musicians and I am excited to be part of this legacy, plus I've been a fan of the 'Feel The Pain' album ever since it was released so it is really cool to be able to play those tunes with them."

When asked how he feels about being part of AMULANCE, Cassidy stated, "I was excited about the opportunity. As a matter of fact when Bob (Luman, AMULANCE guitarist) told me they were looking to fill a vacant guitarist position, I told him, 'Stop looking, I want the gig.'"

AMULANCE has been confirmed for next year's edition of the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 29-31, 2010 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.
